Hey, It’s great hearing this! I have fond memories of the evening, especially the alcoholic root beer. I hope you all can come back some time. Aim for a Thursday, because that’s when we’re sitting around knitting. I’ve been binging on listening to your podcasts in the evenings.
Right now I’m in Modena, Italy hanging out with family and going to jazz clubs. Tuesday nights the local knitting group meets and we drink Belgian beer (because Italian beer…. well, just say no). In March I’m heading back to Britain for a pre-Brexit visit to as many friends as I can get to see, and will end up at the Edinburgh Yarn Festival at the end of the month. I’ll also be reunited with my favourite beer, Black Sheep. It’s a traditional British bitter, so simple, but so good. It fueled my PhD. All the beers at the brewery have sheep related names, except for the Monty Python themed beers. (https://www.blacksheepbrewery.com/).
Anyway, if you ever want to do a textile archaeology podcast, I’d be glad to be interviewed again by you guys.
